Hi rear n/s brake locked on, unable to remove drum, did manage to free just once but as I went to drive car the wheel locked up again have not managed to free again.

Check for seized , sticking h/brake cable , if not that try rapping back plate with a hammer to release brake shoes Then remove drum and check shoes and wheel cylinder .

Or you can slacken the bleed nipple and the "wiggle" the drum,
this usually is enough to create enough free play to get the drum off.
