BMW X5 starting

Car: BMW X5
Variant: 4.4l petrol and lpg
Model Year: 2002

the car will start and tick over but struggles nealy cuts out but when i go to pull off no power andit pings as its going to back fire until i rev it then it goes runs idal on petrol when i run it on lpg it runs great ca anybody direct me to this problem thanks dave

Possibly Coolant Temperature Sensor ?

hi the car coolent keeps going low no leaks dosent over heat no water in engine oil wheres it going thanks

If coolant leak and you can't find it , you will need a pressure test on cooling system which will show up any external leaks i.e water pump etc.A sniff test ( block test ) will let you know if internal leak like head gasket . All depends where head gasket leaks whether it mixes with oil or not .Normally other symptoms if head gasket gone like pressurising system etc .You can get probs with water pump and other leaks on that engine .
