BMW 3 Series air lock, also missing part

Car: BMW 3 Series
Model Year: 2001
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
just got the head gasket replaced, now i have an air lock that the person who repaired the head gasket didn't bleed the water system, left air lock in the system, now discovered that their is part missing from the head block to the the manifold that also attaches itself to flow flush pipe parallel to the head block, i can only describer were it sits, but unable to say what part it is, as the person fixed the head gasket didn't put the part back on in original placed as found before work had been carried out, did ask on many occasions but so far no a reply.

They didn't bleed the coolant? that's not good i would do that as soon as you can to avoid over heating and warping.
as for the part all i can see(Im going off very poor spec drawings) is like a brace from manifold to head with plastic round pipe clip of to the side think this is what you described. if that the case in my opinion its not overly important but you would have to find a way of keeping the pipe from moving around to much. If you had this done at a garage then i would demand it be fitted or replaced if it was broken taking it off(i have broken many :))
