it sounds like a boost pressure sensor problem as it may be over boosting there for the engine cuts out to stop the engine blowing up hope this helps

I changed two sensors and no difference, dropped a valve n so on, fixed it all for it to happen again! got a new engine but didnt risk driving it this time! i have since sent the ecu away to be tested as someone told me this was causing the problem. ecu came back fine. we checked the new engine in the old car and it ran like a dream and revd over 3rpm. any other suggestions???

thanks

only thing left is the engine wiring loom itself. take the loom from the donor car, and try that... seems logical to me.
