The Giulietta has a known issue with the gear knob working loose and the top section detaching completely. The is a result of the poor construction of the part.
What to do:
The only real solution is to replace the part. It's also worth regularly checking yours to make sure it's not working loose as it can detach whilst your driving which could be potentially dangerous.
Water in boot
If you've noticed the carpets in the boot are wet then you may have a problem with the rear wiper seal. This is a common fault on the Giulietta, water builds up inside the boot hatch and gradually leaks down into the boot.
What to do:
The solution is to replace the seal. You'll also need to remove any damaged parts from the area as leaving them in place could lead to problems with rust.
