Sounds like a noisy thrust bearing on tick over, dip the clutch it goes away. But wen u drive the car the scraping/whining noise gets louder with the revs and throu the gears??????

Accelerates well in neutral,when you select a gear manual transmission car loses power & fails to move until you rev up the engine speed then you can roll forward
