I discovered these guys about seven years ago as an alternative to the Merc main dealer.

Highly professional, able to undertake complex work. Conscientious and good at staying in touch - no nasty surprises. They actually are what everyone drems of finding - a small family run business that respects the customer, turns out first rate work and charges a very reasonable rate.

To give an example: Kwikfit wanted £79.81 to replace my fron pads and I know from experience that they look for extra work and then twist your arm to have it done. John Dandy charged £71.42, took one hour to complete and told me a lot about my brakes for free with no obligation.

Likewise with MOTs:- I have had several where it was just "No problems" or replace a bulb (which they did for free) Once you try these people, you will not go back to the main dealer. They have been my No 1 favouite in the Gloucestershire since I first met them seven years ago.10/10 and 5*+
