Sanmax Performance

Sorry, nothing good to say about Paul or SANMAX.. Bought a car from them, I only owned it for 6 months, 4 of those months it spent in various garages. The car itself never ran well and would not select gears. Sanmax must havwe known about the problems with the car when it was sold. They were very fortunate that i didnt take it any further and was just happy to get rid of the car. I part exd it for a proper car, an Audi and will never look back. Poor paperwork, much of it was missing, poor customer service, and an idiot in charge. Never buy from these people!

As per all previous comments - appalling customer service. I was advised that all faults on the car would be repaired prior to delivery. After receiving delivery I realised all faults were still there and 2 months on have still not had the faults rectified despite the garage telling me it would happen. Never sent off the documentation so had to sort that out myself. I have never come across a business who are so bad at paperwork. They have also moved premises and are now based in Hanham Trading Estate on Memorial Road having moved premises. The car itself runs fine it is just tweaks that were promised that have never materialised, buyer beware and make sure that everything you asked for is done prior to handing over the money.

I bought a car from this dealer and everything was perfect until I paid my money.

The car was delivered and was missing vital paperwork and work that had been agreed to be completed before delivery was not honoured.

The customer service is virtually non-existent after we paid for the car and I am amazed that they are still in business and dealing via sites like Ebay. They seem to be ignoring all communications – not a very good situation.

Definitely a case of buyer beware I am afraid.

i purchased a car from sanmax which has a guarantee. the car has failed and been off the road more than on. i am not blaming sanmax for the cars faults but the extremley slow response from the garage and supposed warranty firm who still havnt paid us to date,now car has 3rd problem we are still not getting money through from warranty, it is hard to get through and we keep getting the same line, i will ring you back and the cheque is in the post. we are fed up and wouldnt use them again. sorry.
