Tinder Lee have provided an excellent service whilst I have been away on holiday. My car has previously been looked at by various mechanics without a conclusion as to why it wouldn't start. Tinder Lee appear to have solved the problem by taking their time to look over my vehicle thoroughly. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

tinda-lee covered for the a.a on 28june 2012..they were very good i have a ford galaxy whitch failed on the A46it was sorted with the A.A.for a low loader to transfer me back to leicester this failed from the A.A. Tinda-lee took us back to Grantham and sorted out a low loader, and transfering us back to leicester ... well done Tinda - lee... speak to you soon...

My car developed an alternator failure and the RAC appointed Tinda Lee to tow the vehicle and repair the fault. I was very concerned as I wasn't given a firm price before being towed and as the work took nearly four hours to complete at their garage I feared a hefty bill. I needn't have worried as it appears that Tinda Lee is a very reputable and honest set up with a great team of mechanics who go out of their way to be fair and reasonable. RAC repair work is carried out based on what the book says for repair times and hence I was charged accordingly for just over two hours labour.

Given the fact that these guys worked late into the night to sort out my car for a bargain price they deserve a medal for customer service and value. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone. It appears customer service isn't dead in the UK after all.

I recently broke down whilst shopping at my Local supermarket with a flat battery.
I contacted Tinda-lee to come to my aid, they quoted that they would arrive within 5 minutes.
However, they arrived after 10 minutes( the mechanic did apologise) and a smartly dressed young man assisted me. Andy Jump started my vehicle and checked it over so I knew it was safe and working correctly.
All in all a very good service provided.

I have had a few cars and broken down quite alot over the last 3 or 4 years. I was travelling to see relatives over christmas so was nowhere near home this time... on the A46 near a place call six hills my little pride and joy died on me :-( being a bit of a handy man I took a look under the hood but couldn't really see anything amiss, and made an educated guess that the alternator had given up the ghost. Resigined myself to the fact I was now going to be going back home (over 100 miles) I rang my breakdown cover and they sent this garage out to me. They rang me to say a truck was on the way and would be within the hour, so was amazed when it turned up 15 minutes later. The mechanic was dave, and really friendly, said he would tow the car to the services so we were safe then he would take a look to see if he could repair it. I confidently said its the alternator you will have a longer tow than that! we got to a petrol station where I used the facilities and grabbed a coffee, when I got back to the car it was running! Dave had found a broken wire and he saved christmas! I can't thank these guys enough. Very professional, and pleased they proved me wrong. Great service.

I broke down a month ago on my way to do my usual weekly shop in Lincoln, 5 mins down the road and My car broke down. I called my Club as I have membership through my Bank who advised me they would get someone out to me within 20minutes. Literally 5 mins later Tinda-lee Arrived.
There breakdown guy was very helpful and efficent, Ive heard that some Contractors lack mechanicial knowledge but Aaron was very experienced and diagnosed and repaired my vehicle quickly and effectively. In fact my car is still running with no problems a month Later!

About a month ago it was the first time I have ever broken down-in all my years of driving-so was very scared and nervous being stranded alone on a country lane, and not really having a clue where I was. After trying to explain to my breakdown company where I came from and was going to I sat in darkness praying they would find me. A man from Tinda-Lee rang me within 10 minutes and asked me a lot of questions, seems that he knew exactly where I was by the landmarks! He already had a truck on its way and he spoke to me for a good 10 minutes which made me feel somehow safer! The lorry as promised arrived within the 20 minutes I was quoted so I cannot praise these people enough! I was taken to services where another van was waiting and he diagnosed my alternator was kapput! The lorry took me home and I have to say that I was impressed with the service and courteousness of the staff I met and spoke to. I received a first class service. Thanks you so much Tinda-Lee!

called the aa out to my works van on the m1 and i was informed that a breakdown tecnician from tinda lee would be attending,within the hour he pulled up in his little van and quickly diagnosed the fault,he then towed me to the local services and quickly and promptly dealt with the issue.I was suprised his van would tow my transit but we did laugh and joke about it and the fault,as he explained im not the first and certainly wont be the last to make the mistake.'Top man Ady'.And thaks Tinda lee

I called out the AA on a Sunday evening at 4pm. AA turned up an hour late and arrived at 6pm. The AA told me I needed a flat bed to get the car home. Tinda lee also turned up an hour late at 9.45 pm. Tinda lee dragged my car up onto the flat bed using a thick wire around the suspension arms. Tinda lee got it back to my home and used the wire again to get it off. I am now fighting for the costs of the damage to the suspension arms they caused which is over £600. Tinda lee are saying they haven't caused the damage! Which they obviously have!!!! I am absolutely disgusted, its shocking!!!!

this is my first experience with tinda lee as i called the aa to my car as it wouldnt start they informed me a breakdown technician from tinda lee would be along shortly. although it was over an hour later when he did turn up the technician 'ady' did explain that they were very busy and he had to attend a priority breakdown with a woman and baby on board so of course she did take priority.
within 5 minutes of him looking at my car he had diagnosed the fault and within 20 minutes repaired.
he did advise me to have the part replaced as it maywell happen again, and shown me excactly were the part was and called. even advised me were to buy 1 locally as i could replace it my self and save on garage bills.
very happy with the service provided. thankyou tinda lee & 'ady'

First dealings with Tinda Lee where positive, following a breakdown the RAC called them to recovery my car, they came quickly although I did have concerns about them driving my car whilst the engine was knocking loudly up the loading ramp onto the back of their lorry.

My problems started when I was drawn in with promises of quality repair work at a discount because I was an RAC customer,

Today i have paid them several hundred pounds for NOT fixing anything, they wrongly diagnosed the fault, mislead me on price and still my car is not fixed,they reconditioned parts that where not the fault, I have had my car collected by a proffessional company who cannot believe the quality of service i recieved.

I wouldn't trust them to change a bulb and intend to cancel my long term membership with rac, they should be vetting these repair companies.

Do not believe the prices they quote on the phone, my was multiplied 3 times what i agreed,

I sustained two punctures last Friday night (18 Feb).
I called the RAC who were very helpful. They said someone else would contact me, and would be out to me in 1 hr. Ed did phone me and said a chap was on his way and would be with me in 1/2 hr.

This all came to pass.
The service provided by the RAC and Tilda-Lee was friendly and efficient.

Customer service was poor, i have been waiting in the cold since 11am on 28.11.2010, its minus 4 and snowing the AA promised an agent would be with me at 1.15, i kept calling them who fobbed me off with 20 and 40 minutes, its 17.00 and no one has turned up, i called the AA who advised that there is a 6 hour waiting time and they where unable to contact "Tinda Lee", after calling the garage myself, they also advised they would be a further 30 minutes... i'm still waiting.

Came out to me when my car broke down. Not only did they keep me waiting for an hour and half without calling me to advise me of any delays. But the driver used the drag-link arm to winch the car onto his truck which bent it leaving the car unsafe to drive. Now I not only face a bill for the original fault but also an extra bill to repair the stearing.

Tinda Lee Recovery Group came out to us when our car brokedown in grantham. we waited almost 3 hours from when I first called the AA with my breakdown. When the guy arrived in the van, he managed to fix the car enough for me to drive home. Good service, shame about the long wait.
