I worked at Rex Judd in the early seventies in their stores department. Mainly selling British bike parts and scooter parts. My boss was Peter Judd. I took over from the late Les Harris who went on and did quite well for himself. Rex Judd also had a busy pushbike section. The shop was littered with all these old duffers bikes which belonged to Peter Judd, no doubt worth a fortune now. Fond memories.

I knew Rex Judd in the 1930s I belonged to the Edgware and Mill Hill motor cycle club which had it's club meetings over the workshop. I think then Rex Judd only had two mechanics working for him. But we had some wonderful times until the Second world war started I had bought from Rex a 500 Alriel and lastly a Triumph Tiger Hundred which I sold when I joined the RAF in 1939. It's sad that the shop has closed but although I haven't been there since 1939 I still remember the place with fond memories.
If there is any one still around who belonged to that club I would love to hear from them.
