Grangeside Of Runcorn

This is an old-established family business, run by Alan Mercer (son of the founder) with his daughter Victoria as receptionist/business angel. I can't praise them too highly - they look after our 2000 BMW 530d and my wife's 1998 Fiesta 1.25 auto brilliantly. They offer a pick-up and return service for whenever you need work doing on the cars and are excellent workers at a reasonable price.

It's the sort of place you can drop into if you need a bulb changing and they'll do it on the spot. Everyone's friendly and the mechanics are knowledgeable and experienced - no-one seems to leave the workforce for years!

They're our local accident and breakdown recovery specialists, working for most of the national agents. This means, of course, that they are there over long hours - you can even get work done on a Saturday afternoon! They are members of the Good Garage scheme and always ask for feedback following work being done.

I'm not connected to them except as a satisfied customer but would recommend them to anyone in the Runcorn area. They even send customers a Christmas card every year!!!
