My car needed rear bumper repairs after someone went into the back of me. My insurer uses Harwoods Accident Repair Centre and I thought they were great. Excellent communication, friendly service, and job was done quickly (3 working days). They also cleaned the car! No problems whatsoever. Plus they were just down the road from me.

I have had three cars repaired at Harwoods over the last two year, two of them this autumn. All this whining about how long it takes, its takes as long as it takes, do you want them taking short cuts, getting the wrong colour, missing bits out? These folks are skilled and there are bits you can't hurry, I think the work done was superb.

Harwoods - I would never use them again. Wasted weeks - trying to get the car in to them, (4) and got messed around badly. Not seen the repair yet.. I drive 1500 miles every 2 weeks with work and was given a fiat 500 to do it with. Might not have been so bad - had I not had to wait almost a month and then 3 weeks for the repairs....

Harwoods carried out insurance claim repair on my Ford Focus LX. Fitted new bumper, rear panel, complete tailgate and number plate. Reassembled and finished to high standard; excellent paint match and finish. Vehicle valeted inside and out and returned in good condition. Can recommend Harwoods repairs.

Receptionists and receiving mechanic all polite, courteous and efficient. Work completed satisfactorily in a few days despite Christmas and New Year intervening. Only complaint was that courtesy car although roomy was a manual with wind up windows and no central locking when my own car is an automatic. I now have a very tired left leg.

It's taken eight weeks for Harwoods to repair my car. i'm not happy with the finished and had a battle to get them to sort it I will not be using harwoods again.

Having read the previous posts, I can sympathise. I have waited 3 weeks for my car to go in and was promised a courtesy car. They now seem not to be able to give me one on the appointed day which is going to mess up all my plans for the week.
I am also now concerned that the previous reviewers were also dissatisfied with the standard of work!! Watch this space!

i took my car to be repaired and it needed re spraying they sprayed it the wrong colour blue from the rest of the car! not good!

I agree with the last post. I was VERY dissapointed with the communication with Harwoods. I had to wait 8 weeks, yes, 8 weeks for my vehicle to be repaired. I wouldnt mind if it were a lot of damage, but all it was a banged bumper!!! - They had no courtesy cars availble and had to wait 6 weeks!!!!! - Very unhappy with this service!
I have now got my vehicle and NONE of the interior lights are working! I have called them to ask why and I am still waiting for them to get back to me.
If you have a n option to get elsewhere, please take heed to this post and go elsewhere!

Harwoods are good, but the communication with the receptionist (a lady) is a terribly experience. Very rude, no compassion, and not very professional! You take your car there for repairs and obviously your a bit upset and she doesn't help! Whenever I wanted an update on my car, I would hang up if she answered. The men (and I am a woman), are much more helpful and sympathetic.
