Mirrey's Self Serve

On Sunday 13th February 2011, at 17:58, I tried to fill up my Mondeo with unleaded petrol at Mirrey's. However, I noticed that the pump was operating slowly, and called a halt after putting £38 worth in. I mentioned the slowness of the pump to the cashier, who told me that she thought they were running out of fuel. I drove off, but my car died about a mile up the road. As I walked back into Stranraer, I passed another car, a brand new Fiesta, with its bonnet up. The owners confirmed that they'd just filled up at Mirrey's Garage...and that the AA were dealing with six similar cases. But, here's the thing. The cashier tells me, NOW, that they've had complaints ALL DAY!! Why were they still selling petrol????
