If I could rate this Company minus 10, I would. A nightmare experience with this Company a few years ago, & even today, I'm still having the misfortune of the purchase I placed with them. Basically, I gave them 10K up front for Aledgedly a brand spanking new Car. A Chrysler Sebring 3rd Edition, 2 Litre Petrol 2007 model, Which was registered for being road worthy in 2009. When I received said vehicle, there where all sorts of problems. First it was the Alarm system going off for no reason whatsoever. That turned out to be a loom/wire problem. Then their was the Cruise Control was not working, @ the required speed of 35MPH minimum, that was a switch problem according to them. Then there was the Engine Management Light, which kept coming on now & then, & staying on as well. When I took the vehicle back, & showed them the defect. They just kept switching the warning light off, with their fault diagnostic tool on the vehicle OBD Port, & giving me back the said vehicle, stating that said problem had been rectified, when in actual fact it had not. I was now going back there, to there Sales Center on a regular basis, so much so, that I was saying to them that I will soon be getting a Desk there. The Engine Management Warning, was inactual fact a Oxygen Sensor Defect, which they eventually replaced, after around twenty visits back & forth to them, with the exact same problem. Also, they dented my Sebring as well, for the Inconvenience I caused them, how pathetic. I've hardly done a lot of miles with the said vehicle, however the untold amount of Rust, not just on the body of the vehicle, but also on the under carriage/underneath is a complete mess. Referring to the Brake Discs, the Drop Link, the Wishbone/Suspension Arm, in fact every single item underneath the Car is covered in Rust. They must have been taking it for Test Drives, along the Seafront & Beach, no joking, a complete rust bucket from top to bottom. In conclusion, would I purchase another vehicle from this Vendor? No Chance! Sincerely Folks.

Having dealt with Belmont (Selkirk) for three new vehicles in the past I would NEVER again purchase or recomend this company. I and now a close friend have been having problems with a new suzuki grand vitara and a second hand range rover purchased from belmont and had no customer support. Having reported numerous faults on the new vitara belmonts response has been the faults are of an acceptable level to suzuki so you will just have to live with them. I have asked for a meeting with the suzuki UK customer services manager but again belmont will not arrange this. I have also bought other new cars from JMGroup garages and never had anything but great after sales service and very helpful staff , so I do not tarnish all in the group with the same brush. I do not mind my name being added to this report as I have nothing to hide and the facts are all with belmont.
