Just picked up my car today from Chris at Carstar in Leeds.
The whole process was so easy.
I've previously had some poor credit, but they were also able to help me with finance as well, plus with a decent rate!
Can't recommend enough.

my husband bought second hand nissan juke, dealt with Chris. at start friendly and helpful.day of collection , query over money they wanted to give for part ex.eventually we drove away for 15 min then clutch went..contacted carstar told were closing use own recovery home.next day hire car was sorted and repaired by Monday. so mixed feelings.

In 3 weeks since buying a car from Carstar I have had to spend £500 on essential service items, including cambelt change 2 years overdue, which should have already been done on a car with 'Excellent Service History' . There was also a mileage discrepancy.
My advice is get an independent mechanical report and do your own HPI - you could be lucky!

Found this a very unprofessional set up. They didn't want to get a car out unless I said I could do a deal on the day. Then they didn't make any attempt at doing a deal and wanted to charge a £99 admin fee on top of the screen price. I'll take my 12k+ elsewhere.

Appalling. Found first that there was no second key for the car. Then wasted two mornings sorting out the sat-nav for the car, which Car Star had failed to plug in properly. Finally they failed to send off the information to DVLA to enable the tax-disc for my old car to be de-registered. Avoid this garage.

Bought a red focus st3 a few weeks ago car was very clean and well presented as was every other car I had a look round. No pushy salesmen just left me to look round the car.
I have been to have the tracking done to find the rear wishbone bushes on the car have failed I rang car star who have agreed to pay for the repair. Great service overall

Purchased an astra vxr 3 weeks ago, love the car. On the way home I noticed a whining sound in 6th gear so I rang carstar back to explain the problem and they sorted me out a higher car and got mine fixed ASAP just waiting for the paper work which there sending. Rating would of been 10 if the car was sold with 12month mot/service and no fault.

Been to look a van today, sales man Garry very helpful, all vans are in fantastic condition bought a ford transit all aspects of the van we great. Will passing there number on thanks guys i will be back.

I would'nt touch this place with a barge pole,went to look at a car that was advertised with 90000 miles on the clock which when i looked had 95000 on it, surely this is false advertising ??? Uniterested salesman who told me he would rather sell the car on finance than strike a deal for cash .will take my 10k somewhere else thanks

I bought a Volvo V50 from Car Star. I found the car had a problem with acceleration though being intermittent it wasn't easy to diagnose. Car Star sorted this problem out and provided me with a courtesy car for three weeks while the issue was being investigated. Very happy with the car now.

Having passed my driving test at 62 !! After my husband passed away , I was very nervous about looking for my first car , all I have to say is thank you so very much to carstar. I am loving my little jazzy jazz auto x

Have a Mercedes that I bought from Jonathan and Chris. Chris showed a great appetite to reducing the cost to me of the Purchase and was truly admirable in his efforts. The car is spot on and a minor issue was sorted in any event under the Mercedes warranty. I am not sure how long I will keep the car. I get bored after 6 months but well done CS

Never have I had so much faff. CarStar sold a warranty that was useless. I then had to pay almost £1000 for the fix (CarStar contributed, but legally I believe they should have done more). 8 months of chasing paperwork to prove what was done I've simply given up. Very poor after sales, wouldn't touch again.

I've been looking for a car for months,after looking at their website I went to carstar.I was given a warm welcome of acknowledgement but left to browse the cars not hassled and pestered for a sale by the salesman. He asked a few questions and using my answers to find MY perfect car.listening to ME. Personal touch. I'm now on the road. Thank you

I bought a kia sportage on may10 this year and it was given an mot for 12 months and I have found out the rear brakes would not have passed I took out ext warranty which I will be a waste of time as they use the garage that passed the brakes £300 down he drain. I would not use this company again they are not interested once you have bought your car

Today i made a return journey of 260 miles to Carstar in Leeds and it was well worth while. I purchased a low mileage ford mondeo titanium x 2.0 ecoboost from them, what a car, what a service. The guys were very approachable and friendly. The next time I need another car Carstar will be my first port of call.

Just got my 2nd car from carstar after having my last one for nearly two years with no probs. deff some of nicest cars I've seen , so credit where credit due , I would recommend them for sure and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up getting my third from them. Thanks to dean for his patience !!

Just bought a car from carstar for the first time and was asked if i would write a short review.I must say i was really impresed with the set up, their cars are very clean an well presented and salesmen were polite and not pushy unlike some garages ive been to in the past,overall very pleased and would deffinatly use again.

Just bought my 3rd car from Carstar, never had any problems unlike cars bought from previous garages, as a woman I've never felt intimidated, the sales guys have always been really friendly and really helpful, have recommended to friends and family who have also bought several cars over the years and have found them to be as friendly and professional as myself. Will definatly be back in a couple of yrs for my next car.

All in all very pleased , had my car for 3 months now and just had a problem with an
EGR valve which they have just fixed , they even gave us a 7 seater courtesy car which we really needed ( one child too many !! ) , joking aside they didnt have to do that and we appreciate that , so this review is a little thankyou. see you next time we need a car !
p.s if you had knocked us more than 100 quid off we would have given you a ten !! , hint hint for the next one.

We live locally to carstar and they have a good reputation in leeds.
we have had 2 cars form them in last 5 years and have been really pleased with them.
They have large selection to look at and they seem alright value. worth a visit.

Bought my last car from them and it was ok so went back, cash in hand to buy another and they were really unhelpful. All 6 salesmen were in one room and not one came out to help us, I felt as though I was interrupting their chat by being there. When we asked about the Golfs they had in stock they just directed us back outside with no assistance. I like being left alone at a garage but this was bad customer service and the way the looked at us I could tell they underestimated the money we had to spend. The money was from an inheritance so it had emotional ties, didn't want them to have it frankly...

i thought it about time i wrote a review on carstar,well i'm now on car number 7 from them and as you can gather i rate them highly.
i've had anything from a golf,honda civic,audi to bmw and never had any problem's what so ever.
my daughter's boyfriend even got his car from them, they are alway's pleasant and helpful but not pushy,all i can say is take a look for yourself.
