This is a first class place to take your Porsche! Unlike main agents who may employ anybody in the workshops and whom you never meet, Jamie has spent all his life dedicated to these great vehicles. He's the expert and he's the one you talk to, and who does the work. You will also be able to see him working on your car. Jamie has another great virtue - he's honest and very straight with his customers and his charges reflect the work carried out, not inflated by hard nosed accountants sitting on their bums in luxurious offices. There's a reason why his deceptively humble garage is always full of these magnificent machines!

just like to mention, first off i wish he was closer as i live in Manchester, never put any business his way but he did do an IMS rebuild on my current boxster for the last owner. I have spoken to him on the phone and helped me out, tio bloke and have no reason he would not do a top job

Jamie is a top bloke who knows these cars inside and out. he did work on my 98 carrera S and now he does my 09 997.
there isn't anything he cant do and the price is always better than expected. Use this chap with confidence....you may not get a coffee, but you will get a first class service from someone who knows these cars very well indeed. A+

J Nelson serviced my car last week, not only did he do a first class job he makes time to go through every detail.He is totally honest and does what he says he's going to do, Top,top bloke.

Jamie has serviced my Boxster s twice in the three years that I've owned it. Fortunately he is close to where I live. He even collected it and returned it to my door when I was stuck abroad. His prices are very reasonable but more importantly you get to personally discuss your requirements in detail and Jamie always has time for you.

I'm now on my fifth Porsche this one a Cayenne S that Jamie has seviced for me an a couple of other bits and bobs ( Fuel pump)and such. Know it's quite simple if you own a Porsche and your in the northeast this is were you go end off!

I took my 996 911 to Nelsons. Jamie runs a no frills operation but know's these cars inside out. His prices are a lot lower than a main dealer and i always like the fact the point of contact is the guy who has been working on my car. Would not hesitate to leave my car in his hands for any work required.

Buying a 2nd hand porsche is a trial..so many out there with dodgy bits.. mileage etc..in my search i spoke to owners who gave me good advice including Nelsons.. i pre booked a service with jamie even before i bought one!...so eventually took it to him and he gave it a front to back service...very reasonable price including his verdict...phew!!!..and you know what i mean...would advise any work visist jamie...good luck... ps the car is phenomenal!!!...john

My boxster was making a strange noise and the engine warning light had come on, I took it to Jamie and without using the computer he knew exactly what the problem was and how to sort it out. A top Porsche mechanic.

Jamie, serviced my Boxster 's' to an excellent and, may I say, a very affordable, standard. I've always wanted a 928GT but was put off by tales of electrical problems and high mtce costs. Jamie assured me he could carry out any repairs and, compared to a porsche dealership, would not cost the earth. I now own a black 928 GT, confident in the Knowledge that I have a garage were I know I will get top servicing and mtce at a very affordable price. I would highly recommend Nelson Porsche.

Outstanding thoroughness and attention to detail from Jamie Nelson at sensible prices - I couldn't afford to run my 911 if it had to go to a main dealer for it's maintenance. Nelsons look after it at ordinary car rates and, as a result, my early '90s Carerra is probably the cheapest car to run I've ever had (apart from the mpg costs of course!) Andrew Burbidge from Whitby.
