Saved us £2,700! Refurbed our turbo for a few hundred when an Honda garage would only offer a new part at a cost of £2,700. Got our Honda back up and running within a week! It’s quite rare these days in the UK to find excellent customer service. Knowing nothing about cars I was skeptical at the cheap price- but, but they know their stuff, were quick with pick up and delivery, and part not only works, but has a 2-year parts & Labour warrant (Honda only offered 1year parts only warranty on a new turbo)! Just goes to show how much garages try to rip you off. Shout out to Steve - knows his stuff! Thanks so much! Will ? use you again.

Like thousands of other people, I have dealt with online purchases and just a few have delivered, in all senses. What I personally, have experienced with this company, is second to none. NEVER, have I been more enthused, not only with the product I have purchased at a 'crazy price' but with the time Steve took to explain matters.

After having outlined what my car was doing, that gave me great concern, this gentleman completely put my mind at rest. We actually spoke for 40 minutes and when I got off the phone, my stress levels dropped. The Turbo was going to be with me the following day and I arranged for my fitter to replace the old with the new. It arrived as was promised. I explained all the points given to me by Steve, to my fitter, who totally understood and went ahead accordingly. If and when I had a question, even though I was hesitant to call Cats and Carbs, for fear of being a nuisance, either Brian or Connor, Steve's colleagues, were equally helpful. They simply could not do more. I cannot say enough about how satisfying it is to be dealing with such a company and its staff.

These guys are highly recommendable in my experience. I found Cats and Carbs via a Parts Gateway search.

They are prompt and efficient with both delivery of replacement parts and collection of units for re-conditioning. There is no up-front surcharge (as there is with so many others) on turbo units and a 30 day return window which Cats and Carbs have taken care of for me. There is a charge for failure to return but even that is less than the competition is charging. I didn’t have to do anything apart from fit the replacement!

They take a lot of the hassle out of the deal by actually sending a collection courier, which again is something that most dealers do not offer.

I’m happy with the service so far. Ask me again in a year how the replacement performed – it’s a bit early to comment on that aspect. I will use Cats and Carbs again but I don’t expect to be doing so for a turbo charger! They also do clutch kits, carburettors and catalytic converters.

Worth dealing with, they have lived up to their five stars rating from my point of view.

Dealt with a really professional company here in getting my Turbo for a Mitsubishi Outlander refurbished. Spoke to Steve who provided an outline of the process. He provided a price that was good value and within a few days I had the turbo back and fitted by my garage. Steve even spoke to them re. The fitting where they had issues. Great service..

The replacement turbo was as good as new. They forgot to send a gasket kit (human error simply) but have refunded the money as I got it myself.

The delivery was arranged for next day, and turbo arrived on time.

I bought a new turbo from this company with a 12 month guarantee. Within 1 month the new turbo blew up making my car unusable. We contacted the company expecting a repair or replacement in line with the warranty. The company refused. Very poor product and worse customer service. Would NOT recommend.

I put an enquiry on the web for a Turbo for a Nissan X Trail. Many people contacted me but Cats and Carbs seemed the most professional on the phone. Offered me the best price for a new turbo - not 'used' (ie as old as mine) or 'reconditioned'. Delivered to my garage within 48 hours (a bit longer than I would have liked) and the part was exactly what we needed. Total cost including labour and oil change = £780. Dealer quote: £2k+.

C&C also gave me a 12 month warranty - let's hope I don't have a need to use it.

I recently had a turbo fail on my golf, I contactacted cats and carbs at approximately 10am on a monday morning, the turbo was collected by 2.30pm the same day. The following day i received a call from cats and carbs who had a report on my turbo, everything was clearly and precisely explained and i was happy to go ahead and have the work done. At around 2pm on the wednesday the couriers appereared with a parcel and inside was my turbo, it was good as new, i had it fitted and everything has been fine. It took 3 days to get the entire process sorted and i save approx £700 on the dealer price.
