Essex Coachworks

My car was repaired recently at Essex Coachworks on Canvey after a road accident. Although it seem to take a long time it had to have a extensive work done.I was very pleased with the result and the car now looks like new again. Everyone I spoke to in the office and on delivery were very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you all for your assistance

I went to collect my car from Essex Coachworks after a repair which took 3 days longer than stated to find it was in a bad way. They had used a pattern rear bumper that is of poor quality very ill fitting. They have damaged the sill which they had fitted and the fuel filler surround was loose where they had broken some clips. There was also overspray and paint runs on the door. They gave me every excuse in the book to why it was so bad. I have no confidence in Essex Coachworks and feel very let down as the guy in spoke to when I dropped the off was aware of how much I looked after my car. My insurance company is still trying to sort out the problem which is leaving with no car.

ECW made the experience so easy for me. They came out to estimate, collected, repaired and delivered. The standard of workmanship was good and the staff friendly and helpfull. They provided a courtesy car to which I was astounded that they have to pay for, not my insurance company who takes the money! Thank you to everyone.

I was directed to Essex Coachworks as an approved repairer. Unfortunately my experience has been that of dealing with an extremely rude and unhelpful female assistant. If I had the misfortune to have another accident/repair needed I would steer well clear of this company. They are unhelpful in the extreme even to the extent of providing a courtesy car - which is paid for in the insurance premiums - and delivery/collection at their convenience not the customer. There is absolutely no customer service here. Go elsewhere.
