Customer service is one of the worst. They claim to give you a 5 year workmanship warranty but DO NOT expect them to honour it. You will be given the run around until you give up. Fortunately for me the insurer picking up the bill was Saga who have a similar warranty, which they honoured without hesitation. I wonder why Saga no longer use Apollo?

I have just had my Blue Ford Fiesta repaired by the Totton team and they have made an excellent job. They also touched in some small scratches on the doors as a bonus!
Good staff throughout and the receptionist was very helpful. I was kept informed of progress and the whole experience was good.

Repairs were swift and of a high standard. I was anticipating a two week repair period but was completed within the week. Staff were excellent throughout, professional and courteous. Overall, extremely impressed and would highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusted with this company. Rude staff without any idea of customer service. When receiving the car back following a replacement boot- there were enormous gaps where it had not been replaced properly as well as additional damage to my vehicle where they had "attempted" to replace it.

Apollo have just completed repairs on my skoda which was damaged at front and rear. The repairs are perfect. The new paintwork to my untrained eye is perfect. The service was excellent and I was kept informed of the progress of the repairs. Well done Apollo.

collected my car on friday had seen this web site and was not sure staff were good car came back better than before updated every couple of days and everthing explained as repair went through.1 thing will mention went in reception for my car and person in front of me very rude to staff because he felt car he was given from them was too small i was impressed how polite staff were to him as he was so rude. After my girlfriend had driven our car into a gate post, severely damaging the rear quarter panel and side skirt as well as putting a hole in one of the doors, I had to visit Apollo to get it all fixed. When I went to pick up my car (BMW 1 series) yesterday I was a little nervous as I had read very mixed reviews of Apollo and had only used them at the insistence of my insurance company. In actual fact I needn't have worried as they had done a superb job repairing the damage. The entire right hand side of the car looks as good as new - certainly better than before the damage actually occurred as there were loads of little door dents, etc, from idiots in car parks. As well as this the staff were friendly and helpful and I was pleased that I received a phone call regularly as promised giving me updates on their progress. I was charged for kerbing the wheel on the courtesy car but that is fair enough I suppose. All in all I would definitely recommend Apollo to anyone.

I do not normally bother with leaving comments, but I would just like to mention the wonderful service I got from this company. I couldn't drive my car atfter my accident so Apollo brought a courtesy car to my house and took mine away. They rang me and let me know what was happening all through and when my car was ready, they even delivered it back - it looked fantastic. I don't want another accident, but if I do I would definately use them again.

Just like to say a big thanks to Apollo for making what I can only describe as a very stressfull situation into a happy experience , they were very understanding and caring .Chloe was very helpful and kept me informed on what was happening with my car all the time it was with them .
When They delivered my car its was like I was getting a new one all over again , nice clean and sparkling .
Maybe someone has had a bad experience with them but as far as im concerned I would recommend them to anyone .

I recently had the misfortune of my car being repaired by Apollo. I made my claim with my insurers but then had to make my own arrangements for the work to be carried out. After four days to repair a simple scratch in the paintwork I heard nothing. I called them and was told maybe Monday, maybe Tuesday. Heard nothing Monday and nothing Tuesday so called them again. RUBBISH COMMUNICATION!
Collected car but repair not completed and extra damage caused by them to another part of the car! So had to leave the car with them for another couple of days. Heard nothing again until I called them. Car was repaired and ready for collection but then apparently not finished completely so not ready until the following day.
Collected car but extra damage not repaired satisfactorily and repair to paintwork not the best. Took car back again for final completion.
All in all a long drawn out process, inconvenient, poor communication. I still had to pay my excess too! Although errors are willingly rectified they shouldn't happen in the first place. Customer communication is slow and not very professional.
Courtesy car had a dodgy fuel gauge and told me I had no fuel until I put in more than I needed and half way through the journey it pinged up to half! A nice little earner on fuel for Apollo there...
I should have gone elsewhere and paid the extra myself.

**FANTASTIC** Firstly I would like to say how this company kept me informed on the progress of my car, I thought it was fantastic, then I had to tell them that I crashed there bran new courtesy car. I was in such a panic but the girls behind the counter was so friendly and nice and made out that it doesn't really matter, they sat me down and made me a coffe and said they wouldn't do the paper work until I was ready. I turned up at this office in tears and left laughing and feeling really good. I've seen the bad reviews on this page but can't understand why. The few times I had to go to this office each time everybody had a smile on their face and even told me a few facts I didn't know about my car. I would recommend these people to anyone, friendly and just so nice. Please don't be judgemental on the negative feedback, look for yourself and I guarentee you will be a satisfied customer like I was. Thank you again for the kindness and making me feel good about crashing your car! If I have another crash, I will be sure to come to you. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Being a single lady and never had to claim for any damage to my Astra before I was unaware of all procedures after placing my claim to the insurance company. I was contacted by Apollo within a few hours and the procedure was explained to me by the friendly girl on reception, she went through step by step as to what would be happening over the next few days, my car was collected by the friendly driver who delivered out a courtsey car to me he went through the controls with me and I felt relaxed about driving a strange car, I was kepted updated throughout the whole procedure by the ladies in reception, on completion my car returned to me all clean inside and out.
If I ever have to make another claim on my car I hope I am treated in the same way as by the Apollo staff treated me , so thank you Apollo for making a very distressing situation into something understandable and stress free.

Having been the unfortunate party in two accidents the past 16 months, i have had the experience of my car being referred to Apollo on both counts...(of which the two differing insurers have as their 'approved repairer').
I have to say, the staff at Apollo were most helpful and sympathetic.
My car was collected and a replacement delivered, then when the call came to say a part was on backorder, i'll admit i started to worry, as it was only a small job in my opinion. The staff reassured me as soon as they had a date of arrival, i would be kept informed.
True to their word i was kept notified of the progession of repairs.
When i received my car back i took some time to inspect it whilst the driver was still there, and when he had left, expecting to find a blemish here, or there... but no, the area repaired looked brand new.
I feel in this day and age, we are far to quick to criticise, and point the finger when things dont go our way, but yet wont take the time to acknowledge when a job has been done right, and with courtesy.
Should i need to visit Apollo in the future, i can be safe in the knowledge they would be as helpful and attentve as they have been previously.

The service from this garage has led to a complaint to the insurance company. I will not insure with company who use them in future.
Summary:
Told repair will take week to ten days - reality 3 months.
When given dates that it would be ready, they did not update a single time when these dates were missed.
They only ever gave updates when chased - and used same excuses that had already used!
The staff were rude.
The standard of repair has neccessitated further examination.
There is nothing positive I can add about this company and am happy to share my story to anyone who will listen!

Apollo played what I consider to be a small-print trick with the courtesy car. They are only obliged by the insurance company to give a car within 24 hours of the repair being approved. However, if they drag their feet and take a week to assess the repair and get approval then you end up being without a car for a very long time -10 days in my case if you include the weekends. I admit this is as much about the insurance company small print but Apollo definately took this to the extreme!
Apollo fixed the rear of the car and FORGOT to fix the front and then took a month to get the spare part for the remaining repairs. When I initially got the car back within a day there was a horrendous sound coming from the one repaired wheel. Admittedly they collected the car and fixed it quickly but this whole episode has been a complete nightmare. I did not enjoy working with this garage one bit! Looking at the reviews above I am not alone.

Our car was booked in for the week between Christmas and New Year for some damage to its rear bumper.When we arrived we were left for about an hour while they tried to find a courtesy car. They eventually told us that they had no cars and sent us away with no real apology.
The car was eventually picked up about a month later , by a trailer bringing a courtesy car which had alloy wheels. The driver informed my wife that it was a new car and he therefore didn't need to inspect it carefully -she trusted his word ! They then had the car for another month , professing to having difficulty in getting the parts , even with opprtunity in the month when we were waiting for the car to be collected to source them.
The final problem came when we returned the car and the young lady clerk spotted marks on the alloy wheels in an astonishingly quick time. The marks were the type caused by the chains that secured the car on to its trailer when it was delivered , but with nothing noted by the driver upon delivery, resulted in our being given a bill of £188 for repairs for damage we know we didn't cause. One ponders how many times those wheels could result in drivers paying out and whether the damage is ever repaired.
The overall experience was totally unsatisfactory and leaves a sense of not being dealt with honestly from first to last. Keep well clear of this lot or you may have the same experience as us.

Apollo motor co. Totton seems to be a prefererd repairer for several insurance companies and appears very busy.
It took a month+ to get my car in and they still have it 2 1/2 weeks later to repair some fairly minor damage.
I have called them 4 times over the past 2 1/2 weeks to be told it is in the paint shop and will be ready in a couple of days. (It has spent more time in the paint shop over the last 2 1/2 weeks than their sprayers have).
Finally after a 5th phone call they inform me that the paint work has almost been done and it will be ready for collection soon. It turns out though that other parts which were due to be repaired or replaced haven't been and this will take longer now.
The alarm bells should have been rung when I booked the car in and another customer was complaining rather loudly about the length of time it took them to repair his car. Like me he had been told it would be ready in a week but in his case it seems it took 2.
I can't comment on the quality of the work as I have yet to see it but nothing will redeem the poor service and complete indifference I have received from the staff.
I used them because being approved I was hoping this would speed up my claim. I whole heartedly wish I had got my own independant quotes now though. I would certainly recommend anyone else who is sent there by their insurers to try elsewhere.
I hope this doesn't qualify as a rant, but I can't think of a strong enough phrase to sum up Apollo which isn't offensive.
