I bought a Renault scenic from Car World about in May this year. After having a couple of problems early on I have to admit I thought I'd made a mistake, I liked the car but was getting frustrated. I had a meeting with the service manager at the garage who assured me that he would get it fixed. He booked the car in and kept it for 3 days. On collection I was thanked for my patience and assured it was all fixed- and it was! (The salesman who sold me it even came over and shook my hand and bought me a coffee) I now love the car and have not had any problems since. All the staff were good and friendly from reception to sales to service and I couldn't find the car I wanted any cheaper closer to home. Overall, pleased with my car.

After buying my car from Car World when they first opened and not having any problems I was surprised to read the negative review. I went there a little hesitantly but found the cars still to be in nice condition and at good prices. I was allowed to walk round without being hassled (a pet hate) and the salesman I approached was helpful and polite. I bought my new car from there after a couple more visits and then returned to buy my daughter a car which we have just picked up and seem to be fine. There is good choice and I couldn’t find my car any cheaper anywhere else on the internet. I would recommend and return if they had the right car next time.

Steer clear of this place.I paid a £500 minimum deposit on a car on 1st June 2010 and went to pick it up on 6th. The car was supposed to come with a full years MOT. The tyres had been changed since I laid my deposit on it and although the MOT provided said it had passed on the 3rd June, one tyre was bald, another was barely passable and the exhaust was hanging off. The salesman lied and said the MOT was not done in house (it was) and refused to refund the deposit or allow me to speak to the manager. Only after I said I would take it straight to another testing station did they renew the tyre and mend the broken bracket(both MOT failures) I took it to another test station and it failed on another tyre, the headlights, the vrn lights, and the brake lights. Did Stevie Wonder do the MOT or did they just do an emissions test and write a ticket? They are refusing to refund the £5790 I paid and after another argument have reluctantly agreed to replace the failed tyre and put the lights right. No compensation or even an admittance of responsibility. There were other families with children picking up cars when I was there, being sold potential deathtraps by salesmen with no conscience

Would just like to say a big thank you to all the sales team at Carworld for the smooth purchase of my new car.
