They were very polite. I asked them to check my suspension. They said there is nothing wrong with my suspension but said the car needs an oil and filter change. They then gave me a quote of £180. National Tyres and Autocare will do it for £60. Before I left they presented me with
a bill for £20 for checking. My advise, stop ripping people off.

I have recently had an MOT and a service completed at Aladin, the first time straying from a dealer. I was pleasantly surprised - the staff are friendly, knowledgable and honest and I will be using their services again for both of our cars.

We were completely ripped off, labour was expensive & the car broke down a week later.

We took our KIA in for a service a few months ago, with a list of things to fix, mainly a rattle in the boot, blocked windscreen sprayers & a leak in the back light. We were quoted £250 for a basic service, plus charges for additional parts & labour, if needed. They called saying the brake pads & brake shoes had to be replaced, & filters changed, etc. We gave them the go ahead.

At the end of the day, we got a bill of £873, with £40 off after asking for a discount.
This is over half the value of the car!

What stunned us was the bill: £77 for three different types of oil, and 4.5 hours of labour - at £74 per hour!

As we drove off, the rattle was still there! It was top of our list to be fixed, & was totally overlooked. We took it back & the mechanic said we needed new back shocks. We now couldn't afford more work on the car, so we didn't get that fixed.

A week later my husband was driving home from work & the rear left wheel seized. He managed to safely pull over & spent 3 hours waiting for a tow truck. It was towed to Aladdin.
We were there 1st thing next morning.

The new wheel bearing had been tightened too much & made the wheel come to a complete stop. He owner spent 4 hours fixing it, & there wasn't an apology nor offer to pay for the towing.

All in all, it was a costly, stressful experience, which damaged our car. It's an overpriced garage with poorly experienced mechanics
