Bought 2 heavy duty car batteries last year, both failed to hold a charge, flat within 10 days during summer and just 2 days in winter. I have 50 years experience in the motor trade so knew how to check every possible reason prior to contacting Numberonebatteries. There response has been BS and when I asked what they were going to do about these faulty batteries they stopped answering my emails, as for trying to phone them... forget it. Real scam outfit that should not be allowed to trade on eBay or anywhere else.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY BUY LOCALLY AND THEN YOU HAVE MORE CHANCE OF RETURNING A FAULTY BATTERY. If you did buy a battery from this company do not send it back. Make a complaint to Rogue Traders or Rip off Britain. EBay should ban a roque company like this.

Purchased a battery from these people in all good faith from the eBay shop . The battery is advertised with a 5 year warranty the battery has now failed I have a battery report from the AA stating the problem. Tried to contact these people on 2 occasions and have just ignored me .
Not the way to be number 1 . Buyers beware.

Be careful when attempting to buy battery from this company, they don’t even deserve 1 star. They sell faulty batteries. I bought battery for my son’s car, the day he used it, the battery died on him, AA had to toll him back home due to the battery being faulty. Despite showing this company AA’s report they refused to acknowledge that they had sold me faulty battery, avoid them at all costs

Bought battery for focus mk2 in March 2022, failed by August. Re charged kept going flat, re charged then flat within two days. Returned to the store for testing, A week later they contact me after numerous requests to advise the battery has been over charged! And guess what not covered under warranty..do yourself a favour and stay well clear. Terrible reviews terrible service and products that are just completely naff. Lesson learned!

Ordered off ebay before 5pm deadline for next day delivery. 3 days on and stil no battery so I messaged them (as no one ever seems to answer the phone). They advised out of stock but had made no effort to contact me. Assumed I'd be happy to wait their estimated 1-2 weeks to deliver. Order cancelled but now have no means of collecting my friend from the airport tomorrow other than hiring a car.
That said, reading the poor reviews of the batteries, maybe I got off lightly

purchased a 110amp 12volt leisure battery from eBay (number one batteries ) battery has claimed to have a 4-year warranty that doesn't hold up to anything. the battery arrived for my caravan as it was in the middle of covid I stored the battery than on unwrapping I took it from the box then out of the factor tightly wrapped plastic only to reveal the was no sight glass indicator, I contacted number one batteries through eBay they just kept fobbing me off with the same thing.
been to the bank for a chargeback as its more than 3 months the bank is not interested, eBay not interested as its more than 30 days so trading standards next the financial ombudsman

3.NUMBER ONE CAR PARTS
4.NUMBER ONE LTD
This person also has a huge presence on ebay usually under NUMBER ONE BATTERIES or
NUMBER ONE CAR PARTS, selling the brands listed below.
1.PROBAT
2.PLATIN
3.ENERGY LEISURE
4.LION
5.DURACELL ADVANCED
6. YIGITAKO
All have between 3 and 5 years warrenty on them that isn't worth the paper it's written on.
I purchased my battery from NUMBER ONE BATTERIES on ebay with the 4 year warrenty but it only lasted a few months. When I messaged the seller about a replacement under the warrenty he blanked my messages before blocking me entirely on his eBay account.
I have seen multiple reviews from other people all with exactly the same issues as myself and all relating to one of the company's listed above.
I believe the owner sells as many faulty batteries as he can to unsuspecting customers before folding the company and setting up a new one at the same address.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE.

Non existent guarantee.
Problem with battery 12 months old, failed , given run round .
Send pictures of the battery, told to recharge it, even though it wont hold a charge . Asked to send it back at my cost so they could test it .
Then ignores messages. Poor company , poor batteries and no guarantee or after sales service , Avoid . even the answer phone on the help line is a joke
