Centre Garage

This garage charged £1,200 for a head gasket replacement on a Vauxhall Corsa, together with a new water pump and sensors. The coolant pump gasket was fitted badly, blocking about a third of the waterway. The car subsequently overheated, and the head gasket failed again. I suggest Central Garage install better lighting in their workshop.

Been using the Garage since 1999. Only had positive experiences. If you want a free frothy latte and glamourous receptionist go elsewhere. If you're after old school prices and service this is the place. Recommended

Been going to this garage for last five years, always provided excellent service. Before carrying out the work they always quote me how much the work would be, before proceeding. They always explain in full what the issues are. The staff are always friendly a great atmosphere. Would recommend them to anyone.

Took my car to centre Garage - quoted £80-£90 , I then received a call to say the part was more expensive & now wanted £180 ,Paid the garage & on my way home i had a very large banging noise coming from my engine , called the garage & they said to bring it back in the morningat this time the garage promised me that they would sort it out the following morning & couldnt apologise enough .
Took it back & left the car with them , got a call later that day to say it was another part that failed & they wanted another £90 . I had no option but to agree as i needed the car back for work the following day.

Worst ever experiance of using a garage , I stongly advise that you stay well clear .
