My seven year old car battery failed after the recent very cold spell. I rang Cam, they collected my car that same morning, fitted a new battery and delivered it to my home early afternoon. They were very efficient, speedy, polite and friendly – greatly appreciated.

My wife broke down in her car with a battery problem. Very nice at first and that they will call. No calls and when chasing them they were rude. When picking car up today asked why bonnet was open and what seemed the owner swore at my wife and said I’ll effing go and close the bonnet for you. Had a few words and he denied he spoke to a lady like that. Very rude company to deal with

After an initial welcome greeting and a bit of explanation of the work all was fine. When I had to return to the shop as the issue was not resolved responses were gruff and surly and centered around paying cash for the additional work. I would advise not to use them if you expect quality work

They could improve by giving actual printed quotes rather than hand written pieces of paper. There seemed to be a big focus on paying cash. Seemed odd to me glad I only had a small job done although it was expensive enough for that.

Whilst on the surface everyone seemed friendly enough. When the issue became a bit more complex all the staff became gruff, abrasive and evasive. The issue was not resolved by CAM in any way. I work at a large local business and will advise everyone in my office to avoid them

After my car was "serviced" by CAM I broke down and had to call roadside recovery who informed me the fault was due to incorrect fitting of a new part. This was only done during the service. The repair was resolved at further cost to me but caused by CAM.

Work charge too high. Also found parts not reattached correctly that caused further issues. I took my car elsewhere to resolve them after complaining. I would strongly advise not to use this shop.

OMG. I wish I had read these reviews before using them. I was severly overcharged for extra work done without consent. What could I do as the work had been completed. Should be called SCAM not CAM. Avoid unless you are willing to be stung by the exorbitant cost. Would give zero rating if I could.

I took my car in for a service as the location was convenient for my office. I was quoted a price that seemed reasonable. When I picked up the car they had found an "issue" that had been repaired at significant cost without informing me first. On the invoice it was flagged as other and the labour charge was high. Avoid this shop!

After an initial assessment and reasonable quote. costs spiraled on repairs and responses bordered on agressive when I requested the return of my vehicle without completion as the quote was exceeded. Would never return to them for anything not even the time of day.

I agree with the other post here. I've used CAM a few times for different things and they are always really helpful, friendly and not too condescending about my lack of mechanical knowledge/sense!! One guy spent an hour working on my car outside in the FREEZING COLD!! Highly recommended

I wish to remain anonymous as what i'm about to reveil is too embarasing to be identified!
My husband, finally agreed to let me use his pride and joy mercedes sl55 amg soft top, which he has worked very hard towards and spent far too long searching for, with the right seats, correct wheels, right colour blah blah blah... ...then i filled it up with diesel!! Whoops!! ...he wasn't pleased. However, CAM's are next to the filling station where I done the deed. They came to the rescue, drained and refilled with the correct fuel, and presented me with a very resonable invoice and some fun but embarasing banter. Good bunch of lads and a good laugh! Recomend to all!!
