Turbo Pacs

Hi this is second time I have been to turbopacs in Durham, 1st with my audi a8 , and just today with my bmw if you have a dpf,turbo problem or you just want a good internal clean for your car I can't recommend this company enough , the staff are polite and friendly and helpful , the prices are reasonable and you end up with a better car, p murphy

Took a 2010 tdci fiesta in .. stage 2 and a dpf removal and kn airfilter .. great lads great service thanks lads car feels like new and instant improvment on the mpg .. thanks again

My Audi A6 Avant 2.0tdi suddenly lost all power and was engulfed in a cloud of white smoke. I got towed home and was in touch with the guys at Turbo PACS the next day. They arranged for my car to be collected from home, diagnosed the problem and got straight to work carrying out all the necessary repairs. New turbo, engine flush, gaskets, full service, road test etc.
The car is now like a new motor. It's quieter, more responsive and the power deliver is fantastic.
These repairs are never going to be cheap but I can't grumble with the price! People need to realise that in these situations you aren't just paying for the parts, you are paying for the years of knowledge and experience from experts in the field, that have a well deserved good reputation.
I would not hesitate to take cars back to Turbo PACS and would definitely recommend them to others.
Might even take my GSXR in for some tweaks!

Main dealers couldn't give me an accurate diagnosis for the turbo failing on my 2013 Bmw 118...not impressed. TurboPACS zoned right in on it within minutes and got the job to fix it for me...they know their stuff. Excellent job happy to recommend you.

Had my Audi A1 at the main dealer for 4 month !! With blown turbo then a blown engine....they took it to TurboPACS and with 24 it's fixed and drives beautifully...just shows you that the little guys often know more...many thanks guys

My VW Passat lost power and the lads at Turbopacs did a fantastic job of showing what actually failed and what caused it...provided a solution and got me back for the school run the same day...great workmanship and service thanks

Google this company before using, I wish I'd done so before letting these cowboys loose on my car as there are lots and lots of complaints about them. These other reviews are probably fake.....incompetent staff, without going into long technical detail my car needed to have the engine rebuilt after being here, do not use.

Took my Honda CRV 07 CDTI to Turbo Pacs - Long story short, needed a new turbo. It was done with regular updates and with a great positive attitude to customer service!!! Also had a full induction clean - car feels like its come straight from the factory again! Improved MPG, quiet... awesome! you've got a returning customer, thanks a million guys!

Just getting back to you, after returning to Nottingham last night...basically: it’s all good!
As I drove away from your Unit, it was immediately obvious that the car had been transformed. Whereas, there had always been a dead-band between 20-40mph, the vehicle seamlessly accelerated, for the first time. Once getting on to the A1, is was as if the Propulsion System had been exchanged. I had driven up to you, in an underpowered diesel and was now returning home with a Gas Turbine.

It was a struggle to keep the car below 60mph, in view of having the Bike and Trailer on the back. Additionally, I was registering in excess of 25mpg on the info display, which I’ve never seen before.


In conclusion: what a transformation! Thanks to you and your excellent mechanics the job is a huge success.

Turbopacs in Durham completed a wonderful job on my car which had blown its turbo in a spectacular fashion. Very knowledgable guys and happy to take time to explain and show you whats wrong and how to fix it...delighted with the service and the quality of the repair....im happy to recommend Turbopacs to anyone wanting a quality repair to the car..

I had my BMW X3 sent to TurboPACS in Durha...as id heard such good reviews about them...i wasnt wrong...they not only repaired the failed turbo on my car they found out why it had failed...showed me and resolved this...regular updates...super service and very knowlegable....couldnt recommend them enough...car drives beautifully..thanks

VW T5 now running beautifully following a couple of visists to Turbo PACS in Durham...did a lovely job fitting a new turbo and boost hoses and then Remapping it with one of their Responsechips. They also cleaned the induction system through so i thought id take the time to say ta lads...doing a great job stick with it...ill be back

Happy to leave a review for Turbopacs in Durham...found a fault that 3 other garages couldnt and they made it look easy...i was only there 10 minutes and they showed me what broken which made a change. Cars driving like it did when i first bought it. Would recommend these guys anything..

A big thanks to Turbopacs in Durham for their Saturday morning FREE dyno days for bikers...was great fun...ive been a few times and Marcs always been more than happy to put the bike on the dyno...there have been some really busy mornings too...great business and friendly too

DPF light came on in my Peugeot 207 and i took it to Turbo PACS in Durham after looking at their web site...they found the DPF was blocked and the turbo charger had been damaged and was leaking oil..it was with them for a day...now working perfectly...great job lads...happy to recommend you.

Had my Subaru down to Turbopacs as it had been driving me mad with this whistling sound...the guys there sorted it without the need to fit a new turbo...they could have as i would never have known...thanks guys and i thought i would post this as a thank you. Ill be back for my Responsechip very soon.

I had my Octavia 2.0 170bhp TD down at Turbo PACS in Durham...a long drive from Aberdeen. The car was Superchiped at 202 bhp. I brought it down for DPF remnoval however Dan pointed out that the turbo was leaking oil into the pipes and needed changing. They did a fantastic job...ferried mne arounbd and sorted a over night stay out. End result...DPF gone...226bhp and on the drive back 66mpg result boys thanks

Had my VW Bora in at Turbo PACS...it really was quiet a state...got to hand to the guys there they did a terrific job...going like a dream now...anyone looking for a proper garage i would recommend them to Turbo pacs in Durham...

My clutch completly failed on my BMW X3 2.0TD. Turbopacs did a superb job replacing the clutch and dual mass flywheel. Tried their demonstrator and had it remapped as well. Superb service...happy to recommend them to drivers wanting a professional established garage in Durham.

Booked my car in after dealer said i needed a new turbo. Turbopacs gave me a good quote and i left it with them to fix. £ hours latter they called car fixed...didnt need turbo..boost leak and EGR fault all done for a fraction of the cost..now i ask when would that happen...fab guys thanks alot...ill be back..just go there great guys.

Had lots of problems with my S Type Jag 2.7 TDV6...DPF of course and was delighted that Turbopacs (Marc & Dan) did a fantastic job on the old girl...no more DPF plus they tuned it...thanks for all your help...a pleasure

Just had my Mercedes 320 CDi remapped at Turbo PACS and checked before and after on their Dyno...great setup...then they serviced it...real attention to detail.Used many garages over the years and had numerous vehicles remapped and this is by far the best result and best service Ive had.
The garage is really tidy and has all the toys...the owners have been invloved in motorsport which is always a good sign...to many over night experts out there !!
I am happy to recommend these lads to anyone whos looking for quality and enthusiasm.

Took my BMW M5 to turbopacs in Durham...great little specialist garage tucked away near the centre. Very helpful and hospitible..obviously enjoy what they do which helps. Took lots of time to advise me and the package agreed on was right on the nail...great service, price was great and the result superb. Would recommend anyone who wants to upgrade their car or just wants good service from a garage as they also do all the boring stuff as well !!

I took my Mazda 6 to have the DPF removed last week at Turbo Pacs Durham. Mark and Anthony were very helpful and reassured me throughout the whole process. They both completes the job within a day and a half and were able to diagnose a boosting issue due to a vacuum leak in the vacuum chamber on the air box.
Despite what I can only describe as a mini strop I had due to how much the car has cost me, Mark still reassured me through the process and after getting the car back it feels more alive and boistrous, even more so than when it had a tuning box on previously.
These are two great lads who just want to help people with their cars to earn a living.
Clearly the negative comments have found another Turbo Pacs in Durham as these guys wouldn't do a bodge job, they kept my car for an extra day to ensure it was runnin right.

O and guys if your reading this, in 5th and 6th gear the car is boosting up to 30psi now. It hits 30 and drops straight down to 25 so I'm guessing it is dumping the extra 5 that it doesn't require.

Either way the performance is the best it's been.
