Have used Masons for the past 10 years. every time I've found them to provide an excellent, transparent service. No hidden costs, no excessive labour charges and good honest feedback from all concerned. No matter what the problem it's let to a phone call and clarification about costs/work before they proceed unlike many other garages. Can't rate the team highly enough.

There's a reason this place has been around a long time. It's because they know how to treat their customers. They have exceptional knowledge, and more importantly, will not rip you off with unnecessary repairs.

I took my car to be MoT'd and found them to be really friendly honest and great value for money. I told lots of my friends and family about how good they are, and they all said 'we know, that's why we always use them'! If only I'd of found out before ha ha.

I have been using this garage fir some time now. i have never had the money to pay for dealer services but to be honest i wouldn't unless the car was under warranty. r s masons have always been pleasant to deal with. affordable. and nothing has ever come back unfixed. i would highly recommend. very honest large indeed.

Majorly over quoted at a nationwide chain and went here to get a second opinion and was quoted so much less.

Was quickly done and the lovely guys SAVED ME HUNDREDS OF POUNDS!

I have used RS Masons for over 20 yrs and have always found them to be reasonable in terms of cost and service recived. Sometimes a job may take a few days if parts have to be delivered from dealers but they do try to get the job done within a couple of days for routine repairs, or even same day for things like disc/pad renewal, or straight forward work. MOT's and servicing is usually done same day as long as its been booked in. Problems can occur if a car is taken there on spec and not booked in advance, for example because of a fault or breakdown. They cant always do it straight away under these circumstances especially if they have other cars booked in. Their costs for both servicing and MOT work is very reasonably priced compared to other garages and main dealers. They are a small company so dont always expect to take your car in at 8am and get it back same day if there's a problem that needs investigating. They can sometimes loan you a car if you're desperate which is a help, but only if they've got one available. They might not always ring you when they say, but this is understandable if theyre busy. You only have to give them a call to see how things are progressing with a job or service and they will inform you. Overall, I have no problem really but I have been going there for a number of years.

Can't believe this bad review on the boys at RS Masons, I have been taking my cars there for the past 9 years and have never had a problem with the bill or the service.
I always recommend this garage to friends and my family are already customers who receive the same great service as I do.
Keep up the good work guys as there aren't many reliable and reasonably priced garages around anymore :)

We would urge people to avoid this company.

The service we received was poor, we were led to believe that the repair would be completed the same day, however it took 4 days. We were unable to take the vehicle away because we were told it had been 'stripped down'.

The customer service was below par throughout, phone calls were not returned, mechanics were rude and when we wished to complain we were told that there was nothing to complain about. They were also dismissive of the advice that we were given by Consumer Advice.

I don't wish to 'rant' about the company, but I would strongly urge people to consider whether this is the type of service you would want.
