I have known Paul / Mike for over ten years we have three cars in our family and they are all maintained by his garage .

He quotes you a price for the work and sticks to it , and he tries to give you your car back the same day as long as its not a complicated job .

I find Paul to be very friendly and fair , mike is a great asset to his team also very friendly and courteous .

His mechanics do a great job and most are friendly , but most of the time you deal directly with the reception .

All in all i would recommend Paul Spalding .

First let me say that in life if you expect to be treated with respect, then you have to offer it. I have read a few reviews on here that have said the owner and staff are rude. Nothing could be further from the truth. I used Paul Spalding following a recommendation from a friend to have my Aygo serviced. What absolutely lovely people this outfit has working in it. The are courteous, professional and very warm individuals. The car was done on time and running very smoothly. I would have no hestatation in recommending this garage to anyone who doesn't want to be ripped off. The service they offer is cheaper than most ,without cutting corners. My thanks to Paul and Michael for a great job and a laugh to be had to boot!

I was given an approximate time when my car would be ready, I called the day after and asked if i could get my car that day and i was told yes, i called later to collect it and was told to call back tomorrow, this happened for the next 2 days. please don't tell me it will be ready when its not going to be. if you're busy say that don't lie.

Forget about MOT they always send me a MOT due card in the post to remind me can't fault them would not take my car anywhere else.

I had just finished a night shift and my clutch had broken, I was taken to this garage and the service was excellent. They assured me that I would be on the road again in a couple of hours as they felt sorry for me being a hour away from home and hadn't slept. During the time spent waiting for it to be repaired the boss kindly bought me breakfast.

Use Paul Spalding Garage for all servicing and repairs. Always find them extremely professional and very competitively priced.

Clean, friendly, helpful service and people. Genuinely wanting to help you! They sorted a minor problem with my car within 10 minutes which just involved topping up the water. And said there was no charge for me to pay! Charming! I'm sure with the amount that i will recommend them they will benefit from their helpful good deeds :)

Last Xmas I skidded on some ice and hit the kerb with the wheel side on resulting in a bent wishbone. I immediately phoned Paul Spalding and he had a recovery vehicle round within an hour, repaired the car and back to me that same afternoon. Charged £200 for parts, labour and recovery costs. Outstanding service and value. Highly recommended.

I can honestly say hand on heart, the best garage in Harlow!!!
Repaired a major problem on my car, true professionals, the only garage I would use.
They have never ripped me off and always quote the work before carrying it out.
I got 3 quotes for a replacement fuel pump on my Vauxhall Zafira, Paul Spaldings was far more competetive than any other garage!!

Used This garage on and off for about 10 years, having used the main dealers for the initial services in between. I can honestly say that for service and price it is much better than going to the dealers as the mechanics and staff do put themselves out for you.

what can I say. what a fantastic garage. I been using paul spalding garage for about three years now and on each occassion have been really pleased with his work. On one occassion he fitted a seat belt free after i supplied it, and today he has fitted a switch and not charged me for labour.I got some quotes from other garages and was told an hour labour plus fitting at more than double the price. He can be trusted and is really helpful. Way to go Paul Spalding. Highly recommended. GO THERE EVERY TIME.

I have used this company on several occasions and found them to be first class,they have fixed minor problems free of charge for me as well as doing major jobs on my car,always fairly priced, i would recommend them to anyone, only one small criticsm,will the one miserable guy that works there, please cheer up !

I had my car repaired at a cost of £500 and promptly broke down the next day due to the electrics not being reconnected properly.

Have been there 3 times with 1 problem cost me £300 so far and problem not solved.Not recommended
