I had a fuel problem with my car and I was recommended to PC Autocare, after reading the reviews I was really apprehensive but as they are Merc specialists I decided to put my trust in them. Stuart was really helpful and fixed the problem, I was not over charged either for the parts needed nor his labour, and I really appreciated that he delivered my car back to me. I would recommend this company, the only drawback for me was that having to use the buses the 53 only runs to Lydiard every 1 1/2 hours from Swindon.

Very Very poor and lost total confidence in this company. Had diagnostics done at PC autos as had a front LED light out and Mercedes were too busy. Paid PC autos £102 and told by PC autos that our A Class needed a new front light at £720, and also a new light control unit at £275. Plus fitting it all as bumper needed to come off (total £1500). The light control unit was not available in UK but the LED front light was, so I bought the light control unit off of ebay abroad and got a quote off of Newbury Mercedes of £660 for a new headlamp. So a week later the control unit arrived and I drove to Newbury Mercedes to pick up the front light so PC autos could fit it all. Newbury Mercedes said lets take a look for you as we have a slot free. They run a diagnostic check and the headlanp was absolutely fine and still is, as it only needed the light control unit which I had got off of ebay. Newbury Mercedes fitted the light control unit for £118 without taking any bumper off. Rubbish service. I dont think they even used a diagnostic machine at all!

I took my Mercedes to this company with a stop/stat fault. I left my car on the forecourt with normal day to day dirt on it but with no other faults.
Picked the car up a few hours later with mud down the passenger’s side and an Air Conditioning sensor Fault.
After taking the car home, I found that someone had disconnected the Air Conditioning sensor from its electrical cable. I attached the cable and the fault went away.
All I can say is I wasn’t impressed by this company at all. It was the first time I had ever used this company and as far as I am concerned did not look after my car as I would expect them to do. They could have at least washed the mud of my car. It wasn’t there when I dropped my car off.
As for the strange disconnection of the AC Temperature sensor cable, it wasn’t disconnected before I took my car to them yet it was disconnected when I brought it home!
If you can afford dealership prices for finding and fixing faults I suggest you take you BMW or Mercedes to them. Let’s stick together and stop companies like this making money out of us. If you can afford dealership prices, I suggest you take your car to them. I was warned about this company’s bad reputation before using them but I didn’t listen and so had to deal with the consequences. Never again!

my wife booked her 2005 bmw 118 in for a service pre xmas.... she was later charged £753 for a service on a 10 year old car, including fixing a minor leak... which i'm certain is more than the main dealer would have charged and equates to robbery.
on the other 'must do' fix list was included 'rear pads' - had been replaced 12 months prior!

Had been to several so-called experts who were unable to say why my BMW was running so badly. PC Autocare diagnosed the problem straight away, and when they returned it to me the car was running perfectly. An excellent service at a very reasonable price! Would thoroughly recommend them
