After buying a car from here i warn anyone else not to. Not only was i blamed for a faulty fuel pump and told it would not be repaired even though he offered a warranty the owner actually told me to go forth and multiply. Arrogant and knows nothing about any cars he has or their history. My advice is stay well away.

I found a car we were interested in on the Auto Trader site, it said it was in Bridgend so, after ringing to check it was still there, we went to look at it, only to be told the car was at the Barry garage due to the company being in the middle of changing premises.
So we travelled the half hour all the way back to Barry, which we had passed on the way to Bridgend! On arriving the man came out of his office, we explained we were looking to part ex, without even looking at our car, he went on his computer and came back to us with a price of £600, our car is worth over £1,000. Infact, we had just been told by another garage if anyone offers less than £1,000 they are taking the mick!
When we questioned him on the low price, he used the excuse that the millage was high (which for the cars age it wasn't).
He was really arrogant and lacking in knowledge of the trade. He treated us like we knew nothing about cars, my partner works in a garage and when this was pointed out he continued to explain that the engine in our car wasn't good etc. I've never heard so much rubbish. I'd hate to think what deals he's done with people over the years, he must have done the dirty on loads of customers.
Just to warn people to be extremely careful if you dare to deal with this garage or the one they are currently setting up in Bridgend, which is probably due to the negative reviews from the Barry branch!

Thank you to the three people who have posted reviews. I have been looking to purchase a second hand car in this area, and your reviews have been most helpful.

Nightmare

Stay well clear. Bought a car from them and it had wrong plates on and the 12 months tax they gave was for a different car. Had been driving it for 3 weeks until I noticed as the log book hadn't come back from DVLA. Also the service book was falsified. As I lived 250 miles away I was constantly fobbed off with excuses and lies by the owner. In the end I was lucky to have got it on HP and they sorted it out for me. Car had to be inspected by DVLA and correct plates put on. Worst experience of my life.

Please be cautious when dealing with this company. I saw an ad of theirs on Auto Trader for what appeared to be a very reasonably priced car, so I decided to follow it up with an enquiry. I liked what I heard and decided to make the 90 minute journey to Barry to view the car. To be honest the car was in a fairly poor state and, when I pointed this out to the owner he promised that work required would be carried out before I drove the car away. I was happy with this, as the guy appeared genuine enough. As it turned out, he wasn't genuine at all. Everything is a "short cut" with him. The wrong boot mat was fitted, there is a big hole to the rear where the ash tray should be, lower door trim missing, centre brake light wires ripped out, wrong owners' manual issued with the car, no service history, wrong stereo fitted (with wires dangerously soldered directly into a fuse), sun visor hanging off due to a missing clip, no wheel brace/tyre lever. These were all identified at the start and I was promised by the owner they would be sorted out and the correct parts sent to me through the post. After 2 months of waiting and numerous phone calls to the owner I have decided to go ahead and get it all done myself, at not inconsiderable expense, as I feel that this company cannot be trusted. Every time I phone (and there have been a few times) I am told a different lie and I feel insulted. I was never unreasonable, I just wanted him to be honest and keep to his word, but it never happened.

Please read to avoid an experience like ours.
Myself and my partner were interested in a car advertised on their website and autotrader. We went to view the car and then arranged to test drive it the following day. We were interested in making an offer slightly lower than their advertised price due to the poor condition of the bodywork (dents and very deep scratches). Following the test drive we were told to go and see the manager in his office regarding an offer. I couldn't have even imagined what I was about to face.
The manager did not introduce himself, was extremely rude, aggressive and myself and my partner felt very uneasy being there. He was extremely patronising. All we had done was approach him to discuss the options and we were faced with a tarade of belittling abuse.
It was as if he had no intention of selling the car and even if he had of, I would never have considered making any kind of offer due to his language and utter rudeness. I have never met such rude people and I would urge anybody considering purchasing a car from this company to be extremely wary.
