Took my mini in as it was struggling to start in the morning. Occasionally the engine light would come on.

I was told that coil packs/can sensor needed to be changed and they were 99% sure this would fix the issue. I paid £385.

When I picked up the car, the engine light was on permanently.

I took the car back and was quoted another £591 for further work to fix the problem. Outrageous. Car made worse and wanting even more money.

When I emailed politely asking for assistance in reaching a fair resolution, I was told that all was explained to my ‘partner’ about the issues. Interesting considering my partner lives in Wales and has never been in contact with them.

When I responded that it had only ever been me dealing with them, they said they understood it was frustrating but there was nothing they could do. Stay away, especially if you’re a young woman. They will see you coming and rip you off massively.
