Arley Garage

I just want to confirm all the good things people have been saying below about Arley Garage. They are fantastically helpful, completely honest and they do a very good job. Also, they don't charge an arm and a leg, and even once didn't charge me at all when they were unable to find the problem I thought I had. A rare jewel in a cynical world!

I have used Arley garage for many years - long before their move to Zetland Road. I echo all the positive sentiments on this page. They are reliable, helpful, completely trustworthy, extremely competent and knowledgeable, and also very reasonable in their charges indeed. You can be sure this garage won't rip you off in any way at all. Five stars.

I was slightly reluctant to book my Mot at this garage, mainly because as a fairly competent mechanic in my own right I have a fear of letting an unknown firm work on my vehicle, in case they do a bad job or try to rip me off.
In this case my fears were unfounded. They did a very good Mot, which agreed with my own assessment of the vehicle, back brakes soon to need attention, slight suspension wear. Moreover they repaired a minor failure (misaligned headlights) in order to secure a pass. Due to modern Mot time constraints this is very unusual and highly commendable. Most garages will force a retest at a later date which is inconvenient.
The cost of the Mot and the time charged for the work required was very reasonable, basically a few quid over the cost of the test.

I've used Mark for a number of cars over the past few years. This garage is remarkable insomuch as the rates are reasonable, Mark is honest and his staff friendly. I would definately recommend his work. And in response to the previous question - I'm a genuine customer and really do rate their work and approach. Only criticism is it takes a while to get a slot as they are always busy!

Arley garage is the only garage I would use in the Bristol area, they are very honest and reliable and always take time to explain things to you, which as a female driver I really appreciate, I have used them for all my MOT's and adhoc repairs for 7 years now and have always felt that the prices are good, they don't seem to overcharge and are quick and efficient. They are so honest that when just bulbs needed changing in my MOT they gave them all back to me so I knew they really did need changing! I will always recommend this garage and wish all other garages were like them!

Arley Garage is absolutely recommendable. You can trust the very friendly team with their advice and they solve every problem quickly and at a great value. We took in the car 3 times now, with small (loose exhaust pipe, MOT) and bigger troubles (clutch, cambelt). The last time they even towed the car to the garage because it was broken down at home.

I have used Arley Garage for 3 years. I trust them implicitly. Need I say more. They have undertaken a number of jobs for me from body repair work to services and always carried them out to a high standard and never over0charged me. This is the best, most helpful and friendly garage that I have used in over 30 years. I came to them by word of mouth. They are honest. I had a transmission problem once that I expected to be a very expensive repair, but Arley identified a rusted bolt in the linkage as real problem (not the transmission at all). The repair cost was trivial.

I have been using Arley garage for years, and will continue to do so. Arley garage has never ripped me off, it is a garage I can trust and this is rare nowadays, I think this is due to being a family run business.
