Picked up car after full service and noticed engine making noise on way home. Checked oil but no oil showing on dipstick. Now garage trying to tell me oil was in engine but low and garage not interested

I have used this garage a number of times and always found them polite and friendly. I was however extremely disappointed with a recent experience. I had a faulty 12v cigarette lighter, but the fuse didn't look faulty to my untrained eye. As a regular customer, I asked if they could take a look......... I hoped they would apply some discretion to this minor job but when I went to collect the car, I was charged £29. Yes £29 to change a fuse. The fuse cost was 49p.
My advise - don't take your car to this garage for minor jobs.

I used this garage after being recommended by a friend.i had a fault that a couple of garages I visited could not find.
I booked in the car, left I was told that after some diagnostics had been carried out I would receive a call to explain what the problem was,and some idea of costs.
After a couple of hours I recieved a call,I was told what the problem was,the costs to rectify and appromate time the vehicle would be ready.
I am most impressed with the standard of garage, they contacted me when they found the problem and yes they rectified the fault.
The car is running excellent and the bill was as quoted.
Well done,I will be returning in the future.

I called up at very short notice for an MOT and they managed to squeeze me in and were extremly helpful and I drove away with a new MOT and they advised me on what may need doing soon but did not try and pursued me into getting any of this work straight away.
GOOD HONEST SERVICE

I am a mother of two young children and currently have a flat tyre. I called Westerleigh car centre, had a reasonable quote and was told to arrive at 11am that day for fitting, which sounded perfect. Unfortunately I got lost and called at 11 15 to ask for directions and if it was still ok to fit them while I wait and was told that it was fine. I arrived at 11 20 and the guy that served me was very polite. However, I then sat there for another 45 mins before I realised that my car was still sat there. I asked how long it would be as my children were getting hungry and I was told it would be at least another 30 mins. There was no way my children would sit in a garage reception for that long, so I left, only to be critised that I was late. This guy was extremely rude (I think he was the manager) and made me waste about 2 hours of my time and I still have a flat tyre! I don't know what the quality of the work is like, but the quality of service is the worst I have ever had in a garage. The 1 point I have given them in the rating is only because the first guy that served me was very polite and apologetic.
