Sterte Garage Ltd

We have been going to Sterte Garage for years and also when the company was based on Ashley Road in Parkstone.

We have always found them to be thoroughly decent and have given us excellent service over the years. We would reccomend them.

The man with the scenic had his car booked in another garage which dismantled the engine. it then arrived on a trialer(not operated by us) the orginial quote did not acount for the several lost bolts, ancilaries and large piece of metal off the front of the engine costing over £150 on its own and being special ordered from renualt. The customer was most aggresive in his opinion that he should not pay his bill and attempted to force entry to the garage to retreive the car. with the police eventualy being called and taking the opinion that he was obliged to pay for work carried out.
we are very sorry to hear of the damage to the customers car unfortunatley with the car being delivered to us with bits of engine in the boot and on the back seats etc we cannot hold responsiblity for interior damage. whyle the car was covered in dirt we cleaned it throughly with there being no signs of scratches caused by us on the car.
in conclusion as stated by the other customer on this site unfortuantly bills can kreep in price and we do our best update and inform customers on there cars and provide a quality service .

Contrary to the contributor who has had problems with Sterte Garage, I would like to add that I take my Nissan Navara to this garage for all repairs and servicing and have had very good service.

They always call with an update and a price if there is any other work to be carried out. Customers must understand that not all problems are immediately apparent and that other costs do sometimes occur.

I have never been spoken to rudely by any of the staff and have always found them to be very polite

I took my Renault Scenic to sterte garage in poole to have the engine repaired. I was quoted £1100 and complete within 10 days.

I got a bill of £1350 after 6 WEEKS and I had warning lights all over the dashboard. I also had oil stains all over the rear seats, 2/3 dents/scratches in the drivers door. 2/3 dents/scratches in the passenger door. A huge dent in the boot. The arial missing. A scratch on the rear passenger door.

I complained and i was told by the boss that I was Bull****ing. I found them very very rude and they have damaged my car that will cost approx £500 to be repaired.

Court proceedings are currently being processed.
