phoned caravan clinic on tuesday morning to ask if they could do a damp test on a caravan i was intending to purchase. it was short notice but was in the gateshead area where they are based. they were very punctual and did a thorough damp test on the caravan. found one place where there was damp. would cost £ 600+ to repair. the cost of the test was £30. will defdinately use again when i find a caravan.

Spent ages trying to get an old carver caravan heater repaired. On place wanted £130 call out fee plus labour and parts. Took heater to Caravan Clinoc and it was done in a few hours for just over £80. Great place :-)

Recently had my caravan fixed here. I had issues with damp and needed a general servicing anyway. Job was completed quickly and to a very good standard. The company was recommended to me by a colleague and the price was competitive, so thought i would give them a try. Don't normally post comments on these sites but thought the other review seemed unfair, at least from my experience.

I have recently used the caravan clinic to get a window replaced. As anyone would do, we rang around to get a few quotes and settled for the caravan clinic. They told us it would take between 2-3 weeks which was fine, but the day they were due to fit it they said they had forgotten to add the return mileage to the quote which meant we had to pay £90 on top of the original £483 bill. They did a decent job of replacing the window which they completed in 3 minutes, but I felt it unfair that the £90 was added at such a late stage. I did try explaining this to the guy in the office and said that had he given us the correct quote he would not have been given the job. Whilst I do agree that anyone can make a mistake, I feel that it is unfair to the other people who we were given quotes from as this quote was not accurate.
