I have just received my golf r32 back I am very pleased with the gearbox I was quoted 2400 plus vat at main dealer v w , and managed to get it done for half that price and with 12 month warranty and provided me with a courtesy car free of charge I would definitely recommend team valley transmission

Have had my vw transporter gearbox repaired at team valley transmissions. First class job they had my van for 3 days the bearings were totally shot. Got my vehicle back in perfect condition would recomend this company to anyone thanks paul

I have a range rover vouge the gearbox was sliping so i took it into team valley transmissions they told me that the forward clutch had broken down and that it needed to be changed. I gave them my car they had it for about a week. While they had my car they issued me with a courtesy car which i dont think any other garage does. They rang me and told me that my car was done and ready to pick up. I got my car back it drives like new and they even washed it for me. I got a 12 month warranty on my gearbox i would recomend them in a heart beat very nice people Tim Watson

Just had my audi rs6 gearbox fixed the car kept loosing drive. I took it to tvt and they have put me a brand new gearbox into the vehicle it drives like a dream the only problem i had with them was the time scale. But i surpose its a high performance vehicle and parts would be hard to find. The mechanic who pulled the gearbox out had a real job on his hands he had 1 bolt left to take out and it was behind the turbo. He had to pull the whole engine out for one bolt. I would recomend them to anyone. Malcolm

iused TVT to deal with a pump end bearing problem on our car which was making a noise but drove no problem and the gears were smooth and changed no problem, paid in full for the job. My car had to be lifted back to them as it would no drive, 7 weeks later they still have my car,several reasons later they are offering me a refund of money and a car that NO longer drives! or i have to pay for a recon gearbox and hav free labour. My car drove in there no problem and now after a mechanic repaired a bearing problem it no longer drives! Communication is horrendous, very unprofessional, would NEVER recommend these to anyone.

I just got my MK3 Golf GTI back on wednesday 5/5/2010 and they have done a very good job on repairing my car, to be honest quit alot of work has gone into it from back brakes, wheel bearings, new clutch, overhauled gearbox and new camshaft oil seal and all is very well and I'm very happy with the service.

I have since spoke to the owner on the phone regarding the problems I had when dealing with team valley transmissions, and we agreed that the problems should have been dealt with in a more proffessional manor. So I would like to now add that they did a very good job on the gearbox leak and I have been offered a free of charge repair on the engine oil leak.

This vehicle in question had a differential problem i.e play on diff bearings which the problem was resolved, however the pot joints that go into the gearbox caused the gearbox oil to leak due to slight pitting, these pot joints were replaced and customer was not charged labour.
This vehicle was a MK3 Golf GTI.

I used this company to sort out my gearbox oil leak and I had to take it back because it was still leaking and he had an attitude with me, the gearbox oil leak was sorted and I asked them to do the engine oil leak and I had to take it back for this a second time to and its still not fixed so Im going to do it myself now. Also when I went to pick it up they lost my car keys all in all they are very unproffetional all they want is your money and to that they are very expensive and for the cutomer care you get very little I will never go back.
