Visited Tyre Spot on Scotswood road for a puncture and two new tyres on the front of a Vw Golf on a Friday a few weeks ago . Had Computer Alignment Front and Rear, as soon as we left the Garage around 17.50 the car started to veer to the left, phoned them up but no answer. On Saturday Morning made an appointment for Monday, again they did an Alignment saying everything was okay now, as soon as we came out of the garage the car then started to veer to the Right, took it back, then I was told it was a Bush that was the problem, after an heated argument in front of other customers, great customer service there then, whereby I said it was.nt like that when it was brought in, they decided to try again, this time they managed to get it right, (hopefully) saying it was the bolt within the Bush that they could,nt move origanally. I asked was it not done right on the Friday and again on Monday, they admitted that was the case. How canTyre Spot let a vehicle come onto the road when it was not safe to do so? Never again. Will use VW instead, they may be more expensive but at least we can be safe.

Yes I went to get a performance stainless steel exhaust fitted to my Jaguar XKR. The engineer Lee was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and gave me very good advice on the pitfalls of back pressure and MOT issues. He explained all of the technical issues to me then replaced all of the over axle pipes and mid range for a very reasonable £400. However the pipes that I have had replaced without the back boxes are sounding like a 1950's Norton Motorcycle and there was a lot of vibration it was not a cool sound. I went back and spoke to Lee and he is going to put the back boxes on in stainless steel using the current pipes at a discount so I wont lose out on the pipes that I bought. I would honestly recommend Tyrespot very highly for any exhaust conversion as a similar stainless steel system would cost in excess of £800 without fitting and be no better.

They have been very helpful throughout and at a very competitve price.

Agree with last review, impossible to get them on the phone. I want a full set of tyres but will now go else where.
I think "tired Spot" or "stuck to the spot" are more appropriate names
