Writing to thank you for the rescue you did for me yesterday.
I have never been a Green Flag member, always sticking with one of the big 2, but I was tempted by the lower price that you offered.
I have rarely needed a rescue service, perhaps once before, so have it for insurance really.
Yesterday, I had been waiting at hospital for my dad to be discharged after being in there for a week and when the time came for me to get him home, my battery was flat, which put me in a bit of a flap, I was worried about him having to hang around when all he wanted to do was get home.
Your telephone operator was calming and friendly, and took all my details, told me which garage was coming to me and that they should be with me within the hour. Not long but it appeared to be in the circumstances. However the Stag Lane Motors Recovery truck arrived very quickly, couldn't have been any more than about 20 minutes and what a lovely man he was. Again calm and efficient, he jump started my battery in minutes, whilst all the time talking to me and putting me at my ease.
I got my dad home without too much further delay.
Please pass on my thanks, perhaps Green Flag will be my recovery service of choice from now on, rather than just because of cost.
