I popped into this garage in the hope that they would have an airline I could use for my slow puncture. The interaction began with me pulling in, a lady approached me and I said: "Morning, is there an airline here for the public to use?", to which she responded "you've forgotten the magic words"... I said "sorry?".. she said "none of you bother to use it anymore".. I said "I was confirming you had an airline before I was going to politely ask if I could please use it.... but never mind" before getting into my car to leave, as I was walking towards it she said "none of you say please and thankyou anymore"

I don't know who she was generalising, my generation of 30 somethings? That her generation raised? I always say please and thank you, I have respect for people who deserve it and simply asked a question. The hypocrisy of her implying I was rude by being so confrontational from her first words is astounding.

Kindness costs nothing you know. This woman is an embarrassment to her generation. So bitter.

We broke on the A66. Chambers Garage loaded and transported our vehicle to a motorway service station where we were transferred to another vehicle and back home. The service we received was exemplary. We were kept informed prior to the arrival of the recovery vehicle and their customer care extended to phoning next day to check on our safe arrival home.

Thank you so much! Being stranded with young children in tow, miles from home is always daunting, especially at New Year and miles from home! Wonderful service and patience. Thank you! :)

Unlike the previous comment, I have nothing but praise for Ian Chambers and his two boys
They service my vehicles (7no.) and are always polite and courteous
I feel that I reveive value for money
They are honest and do not carry out work if it is not necessary
The only downside is that Ian's jokes are not always up to scratch

Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending Chambers Garage to anyone. They have never let me down

They certainly know how to charge! Not particularly polite either.
