Engine & Gearbox Centre

Took punto with gearbox noise in neutral, informed new bearing required, when I picked car up no change, they hadn't touched it, after taking it back & forth several times no improvement , after they'd got money weren't interested . As I had serious health problems i just gave up , or I'd have taken them to small claims.

Took my gearbox off and took it to them for a
new bearing. Excellent job and done in a week in time for me to put the gearbox in the next weekend.

had my timing chain replaced on my vauxhall corsa, rang around to find the cheapest quote. I was quoted from one garage 400 which i suspected was over priced. spoke to a friend who recommended engine and gearbox centre. I rang for a quote, spoke to dale who quoted 220 for timing chain kit, gaskets and anti freeze fitted 12 months warranty.

Engine and gearbox did a full engine rebuild for me, my crank was worn and knocking, they repaired my car the same week and delivered it back to my workplace which was a great help, they also followed there work up with an engine check a week later which was great, done over 10,000 miles and no problems, would definitly recommend these guys.

Had head Gasket done 10 months ago.. 2 months later water still mixing with oil.. done in a day.. took it back said nothing is wrong with it.. dont think they skimmed the head or changed water pump like they said.. also whilst doing the job expect to pay for any parts they break while doing the job.. 1 year gtee.. is worthless..beware.. ;(
