Davies Motors

I broke down on the M6 Stafford in February 2011. I telephoned the AA who sent out Davies Motors to Repair/Recover me.
The Rescue Driver did his job well and took myself and my vehicle to the Davies Garage Compound.
The Owner,Manager and Staff however did not offer a satisfactory service. I was left waiting for six hours before they came to me and said they could not obtain the correct part to fix the repair and that it would be best for me to get a train back to Manchester and come back next week when they have obtained the part needed to fix my vehicles repair.
I telephoned my garage in Manchester who said they could get the part from a stockist within an hour and fix the problem within another hour.

With this I telephoned the AA, TOLD THEM OF MY DISSATISFACTION WITH DAVIES MOTORS and asked them to arrange for me to be towed back to the Garage in Manchester.This the AA did and the garage in Manchester were good to their word.

I do believe Davies Motors in Stafford were out to get the maximum they could charge to fix my vehicle and would have taken days to repair it. Be aware!

I broke down in Stafford as a member of Green Flag Davies attended, the service was excellent, they fixed the car on the spot, very pleasant young man can't praise them enough. Excellent.

I broke down taking my daughter to Stafford uni and the recovery driver took me to Davis motors they were first class I was looked after and they were a great bunch the van was tested and repaired the next day I was kept informed and picked it up to bring back to Buckingham I am very impressed in this day and age at the service I received 100%

I was told that the call out would be in an hour. It was less than 20 minutes. A tyre required changing and there were several complications. The mechanic, Bran Smith, got on with it with good humour. Having fixed it he was concerned that the spare he had put on had not been used for a long time so he followed us to the next services about 12 miles away where he gave good advice after checking that all was well.
