Express Mot

Took car in for noisy clutch. Was told it might be the 6th gear, then told it wasn't that (but had clutch replaced while it was all off (£1,200)). Needed crank shaft bearing done, now totalling £2,700. Only to then be told that the crank had been rubbing up against the engine block and needed a new engine. Should have suggested this from the start.
After that work was done, it had an oil leak from the sump. Got that "fixed", only to find the next day that it still had a leak. Sent it back to be corrected, as well as the wheel alignment, as they screwed that up too. It still had a leak and went back again, now got the car back and it it still leaking oil! Not taking it back there and getting somebody else to sort it all. Oh, and to top it off, the car has come back with an additional 165 miles on the clock since we got it back after the clutch and crank shaft bearing being done. So this mileage was only when the leak was being sorted.

Great team of guys, I have used them for many years , not always got the response I had hoped for but you can't win every time!! When the car failed it was always for an honest reason. My family travel in our car so when it did fail it gave me the warning and opportunity to have the problem rectified before a serious accident could happen with perhaps fatal results.
