Overal reviews show this as a last resort MOT center and from personal experiance I have to agree, advice for Ashbys autos is to get a written quote as there verbal will not be the end price even there top end price on verbal will be double the final price.
Check work carried out as there shown to not carry out full checks as advisorys missed when repaired and or oil charged for when not used all to bump up your overall price.
Make sure there estimated price includes VAT on your written estimate as they also are known to use figures with and without through verbal agreements.
If they can find a way to extort you they will please take the reviews from all the names they go under.
