My car failed on an MOT Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover (5.3.4 (b) (II). For a 20min job and with the parts costing £10.88. They charged me £80, which is excessive. Getting an invoice with the pricing breakdown was difficult and i still haven’t been provided with a sufficient payment invoice. And, having to pay by cash makes this all the more difficult for me as I needed this as evidence for my employer. I’m really disappointed with the pricing. Though, I really appreciate one of the employees offering to complete the repair today; otherwise I was told by the lady I would have to pay for another MOT as my MOT payment was only valid for 10days and they were booked up for 2 weeks.
