Ciara Henry, High Wycombe
I bought a car which was apparently passed its MOT in October of this year. I have owned the vehicle 2 and a half months and had to put it into the garage as the brakes were deteriorating to a point that was dangerous and upon inspection by the mechanic he was shocked! The mechanic is currently writing a report for us to go to trading standards about this car garage as this vehicle would not have passed the MOT that it supposedly did. It failed a MOT 5 days (one and a half of those days the garage isn’t open) before with major faults of offside front drive shaft split or insecure, near side brake pipe excessively worn and most importantly rear side structure corroded significantly. The brakes have been fixed to such a poor standard they fell apart when investigate and the rear axle is a complete mechanical fault. The mechanic has confirmed it would of been near on impossible to fix these in that in the time stated The van has been doing a weekly 15 miles top, all documented and can be proved. Avoid avoid avoid and especially when these vehicles are being sold by a ‘reputable’ seller called Amer Ali who gives an address in high Wycombe.
