Bought an XC90 R Design T8 earlier this year. Easily the most comfortable and luxurious car we've ever had. Loads of room, very spacious for rear passengers, even the 3rd row seats are comfortable for taller people. There's more tech and settings on the car than I think I'll ever be able to use/find. The default setup is very well thought out, you don't need to change much to get the best out of the car.

The pilot assist feature is amazing, on long motorway journeys it can really help you feel more relaxed. Knowing that the car is monitoring the road/speed etc and safely adjusting it is a really reassuring feeling, feels like you've got another set of eyes watching for problems. You clearly can't rely on it and you need to be engaged 100% but you find yourself not gripping the wheel as nervously as you might in cars without this tech.

It's very fast, 0 - 60 in just over 5 seconds, it feels very quick off the mark as well, performance at speed is also impressive, it never feels underpowered. Power delivery is unusual and you can feel the electric motor kicking in and helping out the engine, weird but good.

Fuel economy is a bit of an issue. For our use it's perfect but we don't commute or do loads of long journeys, we do more short journeys so we can use it as an electric car during the week so our fuel economy is great. If you were to use this as a long distance daily drive it would be very expensive to run.
