My touran was running in the drive way for 30 mins then just died and now will not start it is turning over ok 2.0 to 2008

We have a '56' 2.0 TDI sport model. It handles very well and we have been very pleased with it since getting it about 2 yrs ago. It easily takes 5 people on holiday to France, including a dog and TWO roof boxes with very little change in performance. It pulls away quickly, and we enjoy driving it. Now done 60K and just had new clutch. Nice solid feel to it. It will do upto 50mpg on a long run - even with my lead foot. Surprising amount of room in the back seats. Lots of 12v sockets for the 'toys' on a long journey, and individual back lights. Middle seat is removable to create extra space. Back 2 seats are ok but only for smaller people/adults. I wouldn't want to go too far (not like a galaxy). But family are getting older and we don't need the 7 seats as often. Plenty of boot space for a large dog. We are a car family, and this has suited us.
