Volkswagen Fox

I have owned my 1200cc Urban Fox from new (January 2010) and from the day I collected it from the VW dealership it has suffered from a condensation problem. The day I got it, the insides of all the windows were covered in ice! Yes, thats inside the car, not outside! Its been back to the dealer who could not find any scource of water getting in, so was unable to trace or fix this damp problem. Since then, the drivers door sometimes refuses to unlock with the remote key. Again, the dealer was not able to replicate this when it went in to be fixed. Also, the drivers side headlamp adjuster motor never worked from day one. It was replaced under warranty. So much for the dealers pre-sales inspection! I dont think it was ever carried out. Apart from being let down by these build quality problems, its a great little car for running around town. Bags of room for four adults.

Brilliant value for money! Average milage 450 to 500 from a tank of petrol (1.2 version) so very economical. Cheap to repair, should you need to do so... which unless you have an accident should be never!
