I was told by a friend that the meriva 1.7 diesel was the car to go for, so I did , he must have really hated me, in 59 years of driving and countless numbers of cars including 6 various Vauxhalls
the Meriva diesel I have is the worst I have ever owned. No problems with the engine (touch wood) but everything else that can go wrong has gone wrong, eg. would'nt idle, eps packed up,abs reluctor ring broke etc etc, it is now stranded in the drive with broken drive-shaft , all this after 76k.
VML suggest having it inspected by a main dealer but are not offering to pay the costs that this will obviously incur. This car is going to bankrupt me.!!!
