Had a 1999; V reg- 2.2 three door petrol model for four and a half years without faults.Never let me down. Liked it so much I now have a newer model. Many professional reviews I,ve read are just fantasy. I can only put it down to prejudice. An X5, Tuareg, Range-Rover would be fine but out of my price range. The Frontera has nothing to be ashamed of and is a fine motor. Shame that Vauxhall didn,t produce a new updated model. So to sum up. A quick, economical vehicle that looks good. Well equipped, spacious cabin. Four wheel drive on the shift as and when required. Cheap(ish) to buy and maintain. What more do you want for the price? And just to backup my review; have you seen the size of the fanclub? Yours, Mr H.
