I only buy Toyota and this is the first car that has let me down like this.It just stalled on my way to our holiday destination. The engine sounded like a tractor. After inspection, they dicovered that it was a seized bearing making a noise.I am very disappointed in Toyota. And by the way there was oil in the engine.

Toyota verso D4D 2.2 SR
Lacks the build quality of previous Toyota's I have owned. Owned since new in 2008 I have had the following problems. Discs needed replaced due to scoring, Poor quality Dunlop tyres causing steering issues such as tramlining etc. Poor interior plastics that score easily which is not good for a family car. I also had a long running dispute with Toyota as the car kept pulling left. Eventually I took it to another garage with "HUNTER" alignment equipment and discovered the fixed rear axle was out of alignment causing the car to pull left. Endless negotiation with Toyota who eventually replaced the rear axle. Shocking for a Toyota and for me the brand is damaged in both build quality and service. My previous Yaris I had from new 2002 never had a problem and ran flawlessly for 70k. Careful when buying one as they are not what they used to be.

Fantastic all round car, especially with teenage children and lots of friends to taxi about! all seven seats come in handy. Very reliable and easy to drive.
